Start Your Adventure and reach Shimla
To reach Shimla from Delhi, you can take a flight to Shimla's Jubbarhatti Airport or opt for a train to Kalka, followed by the scenic Kalka-Shimla toy train. Alternatively, you can drive or take a bus, covering the approximately 342 km journey in around 7-8 hours via NH44 and NH5, enjoying beautiful mountain views along the way. Each mode of transport offers a unique experience, with varying travel times and scenic routes.
Day 2: Sangla

The roads to Sangla in Himachal Pradesh are a mix of well-maintained and challenging mountain routes. The journey offers spectacular views but includes narrow stretches and sharp bends, especially beyond Karcham. The route from Shimla to Sangla is approximately 225 km and typically takes about 8-10 hours by car. It's advisable to travel during daylight and be cautious of landslides and weather conditions. Despite the challenging terrain, the scenic beauty of the Baspa Valley makes the drive worthwhile.
